The latest GymOS update brings in-session programming right into the app, letting coaches guide workouts in real-time with seamless tracking and flexibility.

Members can now log weights, sets, reps, and progress as they go, turning every session into measurable momentum. No more clumsy spreadsheets or guesswork — just clean, clear progress data.

And for an extra edge, we’ve introduced smart loading recommendations based on performance history. It’s personalised, dynamic, and built to help members lift smarter, not just heavier.

Since its launch, GymOS has provided functionality for online sessions and exercise programs. However, keen to use GymOS to reduce their tech and app stack even further, many of our clients have been asking us to apply our programming and tracking functions to the in-person/in-session space. You asked, and we listened.

As has always been the Quoox approach with GymOS, we don’t simply replicate what others are doing. Instead, we use our deep understanding of our clients’ particular niche and work with them to deliver a solution that meets the needs of members’ training in the premium, small-group sector.

We have applied this mantra again to in-session programming and progress tracking. We have assembled a robust suite of functions that can be deployed with minimum effort and maximum gain.

Weight & Progress TrackingAvailable to members via both the FitnessHub mobile app (version 2.1.0 and above) and via the FitnessHub member web portal, GymOS provides the ability for gym goers to track their performance against both session workout plans and on an ad hoc basis.

GymOS’ FastAdd exercise configuration interface provides the fastest and least-effort route for programming in-person sessions. Once configured, plans may be assigned across multiple sessions with ease and simply cloned and edited at will.

Where appropriate, FitnessHub’s smart loading recommendations make loading and weight recommendations based on members’ previous achievements. However, our intelligent, dynamic approach (guided by choices made by the expert coaches) ensures that your members train in an innovative, safe, and effective manner.

Supporting multiple training methods and a range of popular strength progression algorithms, GymOS ensures that the on-floor coaches can see the recommendations being made to their members (and the data behind them).

Given the different ways gyms operate, we know that not all gyms want load calculations solely based on member-entered data. To accommodate this method of operation, GymOS introduces benchmark sessions for which the data is coach-validated and which form the foundations of the next period’s set of loading recommendations.

GymOS’ progress tracking links directly with the “Personal Best” functions, ensuring that members always get recognition for their achievement from their peers and, where appropriate, through digital badges – all within the FitnessHub mobile app.
